Finding the Truth

·

Let us try and find the truth from within ourselves. There is one great way to do it, which I have been training for sometime now. And it has immensely helped me to correct myself in many aspects in my path.

When we close our eyes, be on our own, and talk to ourselves. There are numerous voices, within each of us, often that compete for our attention. It can be difficult to decide which one to listen to, particularly when their messages are all quite different, sometimes conflicting, and even alluring. One voice, however, is the speaker of truth. Among all your inner voices, your true inner voice is the one which encourages us, gives us hope, and pushes us to trust and believe in yourself. Conflict within oneself is often caused by dueling voices inside of each one of us. As we move through life, we get mixed messages from the various aspects of ourselves. Some of our voices, such as the naysayer or saboteur, can speak so loudly that they drown out the voice of truth. Listening to the true inner voice – often the voice of understanding, support, and self-assurance – can help lessen and even resolve internal conflict. Furthermore, it gives thrust to confidence and inner convictions. This also, manifests our focus and we call it “morally” uplifted.

If we are looking toward the future but our faith in our ability to succeed in life is wavering, you will benefit from finding and listening to our true inner voice. We can connect with it by remaining relaxed and alert, while listening carefully. If we have trouble distinguishing our true voice from the others, meditation may be helpful. We may hear many voices as we meditate, but the one we should pay attention to is the one that speaks to us with love, understanding, and compassion. It will bolster our spirits and urge us to go after our dreams. And it will never cause confusion, remind us of our past mistakes, or cause us to doubt ourselves.

The more we listen to and believe in what our true inner voice is telling us about our value and our potential, the stronger that voice will become. And the more we disregard the voices that can interfere with our resolve to succeed, the quieter those voices will become. Saying no to the voices that are judgmental and make us feel ashamed will help us to stop being critical of our failures and afraid of success. By finding and strengthening our true inner voice, we, I am sure, will be able to ignore internal conflict and pick out the one that speaks the truth.

This is a great way to talk to oneself. This is a great way to reconcile. This is one of the great ways to become a better person.

  1. I think the independent investigation of truth is important for everyone’s spiritual journey. Until you really investigate what you believe and the knowledge you come across daily you are living an incomplete life. Your outlook becomes more centered through that journey.

  2. What you write is very true and it is very important to take a journey with in ourself every once in a while to understand our purpose in life to discover our self and to build a conviction we can adhere to. But what I like about your writing most is it is simple, lucid yet thought provoking and gets the little grey cells in the brain activated.. You pick some of the simplest of topics and mold them into an extraordinary piece of literature..
